Crown and Bridge

Because a Complete Smile is a Beautiful One!

Unfortunately, tooth loss negatively impacts the way you look at yourself in the mirror and the way you feel about yourself in social and professional situations. Also, missing or broken teeth can affect your ability to chew and speak, limiting your dietary choices and your day-to-day interactions.

Therefore, Dr. Danesh may recommend a dental bridge to replace one or more missing teeth or a crown to strengthen an existing tooth.  As an alternative treatment to dental implants, bridges replace one or two teeth.  Dr. Danesh pays special attention to detail to create a natural-looking dental bridge or crown for each unique smile.  She has an eye for making teeth look beautiful!

Dental Crown Description

Definitions

Dental bridge: an artificial tooth or a series of teeth that are connected to the remaining natural teeth with permanent cement. If you have a missing tooth, contact our office for a consultation before you experience further shifting of teeth or jawbone deterioration.

Dental crown: a tooth-shaped “cap” that is permanently cemented over a tooth to cover and protect the tooth as well as restore its size, shape, and color.

The Benefits of Dental Bridges

The Crown/Bridge Procedure

Dental bridge and crown procedures need just two visits to Westbank Dental. First, Dr. Danesh and Ashley will prepare the teeth, take a digital impression with the iTero, and fabricate a custom temporary bridge or crown.  During the time while the lab makes your final crown/bridge, you will use this temporary crown to chew and protect the tooth/teeth.  At the second visit, the Dr. Danesh tries the crown/bridge into your mouth and checks it for a perfect fit, shape, and color.  Once approved of by you and Dr. Danesh, the crown/bridge is permanently cemented. You can expect Dr. Danesh’s undivided attention from beginning to end of the restoration process.

If you think you may be a good candidate for a beautiful bridge or crown, we can help! Call us at (512) 520-5949 if you have questions.
